• APRIL 1st: APRIL FOOL’S DAY
On April Fool’s Day, people all over the world play jokes on each other. Newspapers also play jokes on their readers and publish stories that aren’t true.

• WORLD HEALTH DAY: April 7th
World health day has been celebrated on April 7th since 1950. It marks the founding of the World Health Organization in 1948. Each year they select a theme. The theme this year is Ageing and health: Good health adds life to years.

• HAPPY EASTER: APRIL 8th
Everyone loves chocolate Easter eggs. But have you ever had American jelly beans for Easter? Jelly beans come in more than 50 flavors and lots of different colors. They’re the same shape as Easter eggs- just a lot smaller!

• APRIL 22nd: EARTH DAY
Earth Day is celebrated by more than 500 million people in 175 countries. In the USA, some people plant trees on Earth Day. This helps people understand and preserve the planet. But there is another day to plant trees in the USA: Arbor Day at the end of April….for those who forgot on 22 April!
