This month’s debate:

Do you play an instrument?

I play the flute

My instrument is the flute. I can play it but I think it’s not such an important instrument as the piano or the guitar, for example.  I play it because in my school we learn to play the flute as a subject of music. If I had more free time I would like to learn the electric guitar and become a pop star!

I play the piano

When I was six, I started having piano lessons. At that age, I was not very interested in playing the piano but my parents decided I could try and learn if I liked. And I did! My first piano was a small Casio Keyboard and then I had a bigger one. I love playing the piano, but I don’t like sol-fa. It’s boring!

I play the bassoon

I play the bassoon. I started playing it five years ago. I study it at the Professional Music School and this year I will finish the 5^th course.  I like playing the bassoon because it is very entertaining but I hate doing exams and concerts. In the future, I would like to become a professional bassoon player in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
